Persons with low vision are not blind!
As obvious as this statement may seem, in fact blindness has received much more attention and accommodation than low vision. For example, a typical "large print" book still leaves many readers literally with their "nose to the page", struggling slowly and painfully with the text.
Worse, "low vision" is not a single, consistent condition. Readers vary dramatically in their visual acuity, light tolerance, and color sensitivity.
The Solutions section of this site will contain applications to assist low vision readers, as we develop them. The Blog is intended for all readers, especially those in a position to influence accommodation standards and procedures.
